Burger Preparation

Prepare the Beef Patties
In a large bowl, combine ground beef, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix until just combined, then divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape them into patties.

Prepare the Buns
While the patties are cooking, lightly toast the burger buns on the grill or in a toaster until golden brown.

Cut the Potatoes
Wash and peel the potatoes. Cut them into thin strips to make fries.

Fry the Potatoes
In a large pot, heat vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C). Once hot, fry the potato strips in batches until they are golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per batch. Remove and drain on paper towels.

Season the Fries
While the fries are still hot, sprinkle with salt to taste.

Prepare Coleslaw
In a bowl, mix shredded cabbage and carrots. Add mayonnaise, vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined. Chill in the refrigerator before serving.

Serve Cottage Cheese
Scoop cottage cheese into a bowl and serve as a side.

Prepare Sweet Potato Fries
Wash and peel sweet potatoes, cut them into fries, and fry in the same manner as regular fries or bake them in the oven until crispy.
