Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare Whipped Potatoes

Peel and chop the potatoes. Boil them in salted water until tender, about 15-20 minutes. Drain and mash with butter and a pinch of salt until creamy. Set aside.

  2. 2

    Cook the Filet

Season the filet mignon with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the filet for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare. Remove from the skillet and let it rest.

  3. 3

    Sauté Green Beans

In the same skillet, add a little more olive oil if necessary. Sauté the green beans for about 5-7 minutes until tender and slightly blistered. Add minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.

  4. 4

    Prepare NOLA BBQ Butter

In a small saucepan, melt the stick of butter. Stir in Cajun seasoning, lemon juice, and shrimp. Cook until the shrimp turn pink and are cooked through, about 3-4 minutes.

  5. 5

    Assemble the Dish

On a plate, spoon a portion of whipped potatoes, place the filet mignon on top, add sautéed green beans on the side, and generously drizzle the NOLA BBQ shrimp and butter over the filet.
