Prepare the Meatball Mixture
In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, egg, minced garlic, chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.

Form the Meatballs
Shape the meat mixture into 1-inch meatballs and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Bake the Meatballs
Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F). Bake the meatballs for 20 minutes or until cooked through and browned.
Marinara Sauce

Add the Tomatoes and Seasonings
Stir in the canned crushed tomatoes, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Bring to a simmer.

Simmer the Sauce
Let the sauce simmer on low heat for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add chopped fresh basil just before serving.

Cook the Spaghetti
In a large pot, bring 4 liters of water to a boil. Add 1 tablespoon of salt. Add spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente, usually around 8-10 minutes.

Drain the Spaghetti
Once cooked, drain the spaghetti in a colander and set aside.
Assembly

Combine and Serve
In a large serving bowl, add the drained spaghetti and pour the marinara sauce over it. Gently toss to combine. Top with baked meatballs and serve hot.
