Chicken Marinade
Serving Ingredients
Method
Marinating the Chicken
- 1
Prepare Marinade
In a large mixing bowl, combine honey, soy sauce, sriracha sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, and black pepper. Whisk together until well combined.
- 2
Marinate Chicken
Add the chicken breasts to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for better flavor.
Cooking the Chicken
- 3
Preheat Grill or Oven
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat or your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- 4
Cook Chicken
Remove chicken from the marinade, allowing excess marinade to drip off. Grill the chicken for about 6-8 minutes on each side or bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes until fully cooked and juices run clear.
- 5
Rest Chicken
Once cooked, remove the chicken from the grill or oven and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
Serving
- 6
Prepare Lettuce and Celery
While the chicken is resting, wash and dry the lettuce leaves and cut celery into sticks.
- 7
Assemble the Plate
Place 2 lettuce leaves on each plate. Slice the grilled chicken and arrange it on top of the lettuce. Serve with a side of ranch dressing and celery sticks.
