Preparation
- 1
Juicing the Oranges
Start by washing the oranges thoroughly. Cut them in half, then use a juicer to extract fresh orange juice. Strain the juice through a fine mesh sieve to remove any pulp if desired. You should have about 2 cups of fresh orange juice.

Chilling the Glasses
While you're juicing the oranges, place your champagne flutes in the freezer for about 10-15 minutes to chill them.

Combining Ingredients
Once the glasses are chilled, pour 1 part fresh orange juice into each flute, filling it about halfway. Carefully top off each glass with 1 part champagne or sparkling wine, gently pouring it down the side of the glass to preserve the bubbles.

Adding Garnishes
If you choose to, garnish each mimosa with a slice of orange on the rim of the glass and a mint leaf for an extra touch of flavor and decoration.
