Brownie Skillet Directions
- 1
Prepare the Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- 2
Melt Chocolate and Butter
In a medium saucepan, melt the Ghirardelli chocolate chips and unsalted butter over low heat, stirring until smooth. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
- 3
Mix Wet Ingredients
In a large bowl, whisk together the granulated sugar, brown sugar, and eggs until well combined. Stir in the melted chocolate mixture and vanilla extract.
- 4
Combine Dry Ingredients
In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
- 5
Mix Everything Together
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined. Do not overmix.
- 6
Add Pecans
Fold in the candied pecans.
- 7
Bake the Brownies
Pour the brownie batter into a greased oven-safe skillet and spread it evenly. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- 8
Serve
Allow the brownie skillet to cool for a few minutes. Serve warm, topped with scoops of vanilla bean ice cream and drizzled with salted caramel sauce.
