Method

Preparing the Salmon

  1. 1

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 375°F to 400°F).

  2. 2

    Prepare the Salmon

Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Brush both sides of each fillet with olive oil. Season with garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.

  3. 3

    Grill the Salmon

Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on the grill. Cook for 6-8 minutes per side, or until the salmon is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.

Making the Lemon Butter Sauce

  1. 4

    Melt the Butter

In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter.

  2. 5

    Add Garlic and Lemon Juice

Once the butter is melted, add minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant. Stir in the lemon juice and let simmer for another minute.

  3. 6

    Finish the Sauce

Remove from heat and stir in chopped parsley. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

Serving the Dish

  1. 7

    Plate the Salmon

Once the salmon is cooked, carefully remove it from the grill and place it on a serving platter.

  2. 8

    Drizzle with Sauce

Spoon the lemon butter sauce generously over each salmon fillet.

  3. 9

    Garnish and Serve

Garnish with additional parsley if desired and serve immediately.
