Preparation of Peppers

    Preheat Oven

    Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

    Roast Peppers

    Roast the poblano peppers in the oven for 20-25 minutes until the skin is blistered and charred.

    Steam Peppers

    Remove peppers from the oven and place them in a plastic bag for about 10 minutes to steam.

    Prepare Peppers

    Once cooled, peel off the charred skin and make a slit along the side of each pepper to remove the seeds.

Preparing the Filling

    Cook Onion

    In a skillet, heat some olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and cook until translucent.

    Add minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.

    Add the ground beef and cook until browned. Stir in cumin, salt, and black pepper to taste.

Battering and Frying
