Fried Three Cheese Ravioli

Method

Preparation and Cooking

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ravioli

Set up a breading station with three shallow dishes: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with breadcrumbs. Dip each ravioli first into the flour, then the egg, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.

  2. 2

    Fry the Ravioli

In a deep skillet or pot, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat until hot. Fry the breaded ravioli in batches for about 3-4 minutes or until golden brown and crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.

  3. 3

    Prepare Vodka Cream Sauce

In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the vodka and marinara sauce. Let it simmer for about 5 minutes. Stir in the heavy cream and cook for an additional 5 minutes until the sauce is creamy. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

  4. 4

    Serve

Plate the fried ravioli and generously drizzle with the vodka cream sauce. Top with shaved Parmesan cheese and fresh herbs before serving.
