Preparation Steps

   Begin by chilling a martini glass by filling it with ice water. Set aside while you prepare the cocktail.

   In a cocktail shaker, combine the vodka, cranberry juice, Cointreau, and fresh lime juice.

   Add ice to the shaker and shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds until well chilled.

   Empty the ice water from the chilled martini glass and strain the cocktail mixture into the glass.
