Coffee Base

Iced Coffee Preparation

Method

Coffee Base Preparation

  1. 1

    Brew Coffee

In a large bowl or pitcher, combine the coarse ground coffee with water. Stir well to ensure the coffee grounds are fully saturated.

  2. 2

    Steep Coffee

Cover the bowl or pitcher and let the coffee steep at room temperature for about 12-24 hours. The longer it steeps, the stronger the flavor will be.

  3. 3

    Strain Coffee

After steeping, strain the coffee through a fine mesh sieve or coffee filter into a clean pitcher to remove the coffee grounds. Discard the grounds.

Iced Coffee Assembly

  1. 4

    Prepare Glasses

Fill two tall glasses with ice cubes, about 1 cup of ice per glass.

  2. 5

    Pour Coffee

Pour the brewed coffee over the ice in the glasses, filling them about halfway.

  3. 6

    Add Milk or Cream

Top each glass with milk or cream to taste, adjusting the amount based on your preference for creaminess.

  4. 7

    Sweeten to Taste

Stir in sugar or sweetener to your liking, ensuring it dissolves completely.

  5. 8

    Add Vanilla (Optional)

If using, add a splash of vanilla extract for extra flavor and stir well.
