Method
Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Sauce
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes, sautéing until fragrant (about 1 minute). Stir in the crushed San Marzano tomatoes and bring to a simmer. Season with salt and black pepper. Let it simmer for about 15 minutes.
- 2
Cook the Seafood
Add the mussels and clams to the sauce, cover, and cook for about 5 minutes until they begin to open. Add the shrimp, bay scallops, and fresh fish fillets, stirring gently to combine. Cover and cook for an additional 5-7 minutes until the seafood is cooked through.
- 3
Cook the Spaghetti
While the seafood is cooking, bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- 4
Combine and Serve
Once the seafood is cooked, add the drained spaghetti to the skillet with the sauce and seafood. Toss gently to combine. Drizzle with fresh basil oil before serving.
