Seafood Linguine Carbonara Ingredients

Method

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Cook the Pasta

In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the linguine according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain and set aside.

  2. 2

    Cook the Bacon

In a large skillet over medium heat, add the bacon and cook until crispy. Remove from the skillet and place on paper towels to drain the excess fat, then crumble into pieces.

  3. 3

    Sauté Seafood

In the same skillet, add olive oil and minced garlic. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Add prawns, snapper, and scallops, cooking until the seafood is opaque and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes.

  4. 4

    Prepare the Carbonara Sauce

In a bowl, whisk together the egg yolks, grated Parmesan cheese, and a generous amount of black pepper. Set aside.

  5. 5

    Combine Ingredients

Add the drained linguine to the skillet with the seafood. Remove from heat, then quickly pour the egg mixture over the pasta, tossing vigorously to create a creamy sauce. If the sauce is too thick, add reserved pasta water a little at a time until desired consistency is reached.

  6. 6

    Serve

Stir in the crumbled bacon and season with salt and additional black pepper to taste. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.
