Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Cook the Linguini

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the linguini and cook according to package directions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain the linguini and set aside.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Garlic and Shrimp

Mince the garlic cloves. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil and 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.

  3. 3

    Cook the Shrimp

Add the shrimp to the skillet. Season with salt and black pepper. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side until the shrimp are pink and opaque. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.

  4. 4

    Make the Sauce

In the same skillet, add the remaining butter and lemon juice. Stir well, scraping up any bits from the bottom of the skillet. Allow the sauce to simmer for 2-3 minutes.

  5. 5

    Combine Everything

Return the cooked shrimp to the skillet and add the linguini. Toss everything together, adding reserved pasta water as needed to loosen the sauce. Stir in the chopped parsley.

  6. 6

    Serve

Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary. Serve immediately, garnished with extra parsley if desired.
