Seafood Zuppetta Ingredients

Method

Seafood Zuppetta Directions

  1. 1

    Cook the Linguini

In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the linguini according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  2. 2

    Sauté the Aromatics

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped red onion and sauté for about 3-4 minutes until softened. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

  3. 3

    Add Capers and Seafood

Add the drained capers to the skillet, followed by the lobster meat, scallops, shrimp, and crabmeat. Stir gently to combine and cook for about 5-7 minutes until the seafood is cooked through and opaque.

  4. 4

    Incorporate the Broth

Pour in the chicken or seafood broth and bring the mixture to a simmer. Season with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes to taste. Let it simmer for an additional 5 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

  5. 5

    Combine with Pasta

Add the cooked linguini to the skillet and toss gently to coat the pasta with the seafood mixture. Cook for another 2 minutes to heat everything through.

  6. 6

    Garnish and Serve

Remove from heat and stir in the chopped fresh parsley. Serve hot, garnished with extra parsley and additional red pepper flakes if desired.
