Place 4 glasses on the bar or serving table, ensuring they are clean and dry.

Add Ice
Fill each glass with approximately ½ cup of ice cubes, adjusting as necessary based on glass size.

Arrange Napkins
Place a napkin next to each glass for convenience, ensuring they are easily accessible for guests.

Combine Ingredients
In a mixing pitcher, combine 2 cups of root beer and 4 tablespoons of vanilla syrup. Stir gently to mix the syrup evenly.

Pour the Mixture
Pour the root beer and vanilla mixture over the ice in each glass, filling each glass about ¾ full.

Add Cream
Slowly pour ¼ cup of cream into each glass, allowing it to swirl into the soda for a creamy texture.

Top each soda with a dollop of whipped cream (if using) and place a cherry on top for garnish.
