Preparation Instructions
- 1
Marinate the Chicken
In a large bowl, combine soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, minced garlic, grated ginger, and sesame oil. Mix until well blended. Add chicken wings to the marinade, ensuring they are fully coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or up to overnight for better flavor.
- 2
Prepare for Baking
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top. This will allow the heat to circulate around the wings for even cooking.
- 3
Bake the Chicken Wings
Remove the chicken wings from the marinade, shaking off excess liquid. Arrange them in a single layer on the wire rack. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until they are golden brown and crispy. Flip the wings halfway through the cooking time for even crispiness.
- 4
Prepare the Cucumber
While the wings are baking, wash and slice the cucumber into thin rounds. Set aside for serving.
- 5
Garnish and Serve
Once cooked, remove the wings from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes. Garnish with chopped green onions and a sprinkling of sesame seeds. Serve hot alongside the sliced cucumber.
