Preparation of Vanilla Ice Cream

Mix Cream and Milk
In a large mixing bowl, combine the heavy cream and whole milk. Stir gently until well blended.

Add Sugar and Vanilla
Add the granulated sugar and vanilla extract to the cream mixture. Whisk until the sugar is completely dissolved.

Chill the Mixture
Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and place it in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, or until it is thoroughly chilled.

Churn the Ice Cream
Pour the chilled mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions, usually about 20-25 minutes.

Freeze the Ice Cream
Transfer the churned ice cream to an airtight container and freeze for at least 4 hours, or until solid.
