Prepare the Glass
Chill a cocktail glass by filling it with ice water. Set it aside to cool while you prepare the drink.

Mix the Ingredients
In a cocktail shaker, combine 2 oz of vodka, 1 oz of spiced pear syrup, 1 oz of fresh lemon juice, and 0.5 oz of orange citrate.
Shaking and Serving

Shake the Cocktail
Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until well chilled.

Strain Into Glass
Discard the ice water from the cocktail glass and strain the mixture into the glass.
Garnishing

Add Garnish
Garnish the drink with two slices of pickled ginger and a twist of lemon peel on top.
