Method

Preparing the Fish

  1. 1

    Marinate the Fish

In a bowl, combine olive oil, lime juice, cumin, chili powder, salt, and black pepper. Add the fish fillets to the marinade and let sit for 15 minutes.

  2. 2

    Grill the Fish

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Grill the marinated fish for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork. Remove from the grill and let it rest.

Cabbage Slaw Preparation

  1. 3

    Mix the Slaw

In a large bowl, combine shredded cabbage, grated carrot, chopped cilantro, lime juice, and salt. Toss until well combined. Set aside.

Making Lime Crema

  1. 4

    Prepare the Lime Crema

In a small bowl, mix together sour cream, lime juice, garlic powder, and salt to taste until smooth and creamy. Adjust seasoning if necessary.

Taco Assembly

  1. 5

    Assemble the Tacos

Warm the corn tortillas on a skillet or grill for a few seconds on each side. Place a portion of grilled fish on each tortilla, top with cabbage slaw, and drizzle with lime crema. Serve with lime wedges on the side.
