Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Marinade
In a mixing bowl, combine guava, rum, brown sugar, ketchup, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are fully incorporated.
- 2
Marinate the Ribs
Place the pork ribs in a large resealable bag or a shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the ribs, ensuring they are well coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
- 3
Preheat the Smoker
Preheat your smoker to 225°F (107°C) using your choice of wood chips for smoking.
- 4
Smoke the Ribs
Remove the ribs from the marinade and let excess marinade drip off. Place the ribs on the smoker grates bone-side down. Smoke for about 4-5 hours, or until the ribs are tender and have developed a nice bark.

Rest and Serve
Once done, remove the ribs from the smoker and let them rest for about 10-15 minutes before slicing. Serve with your favorite sides.
