Tiramisu Directions
- 1
Prepare the Coffee
Brew 1 cup of strong espresso coffee and let it cool to room temperature. If desired, stir in 2 tablespoons of coffee liqueur for added flavor.
- 2
Make the Egg Mixture
In a mixing bowl, separate the egg whites and yolks. Whisk the egg yolks with 100 grams of granulated sugar until pale and creamy. Add 500 grams of mascarpone cheese and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract to the egg yolk mixture, and gently fold until smooth.

Dip the Ladyfingers
Quickly dip each ladyfinger biscuit into the cooled espresso coffee, ensuring they are soaked but not soggy. Place them in a single layer at the bottom of a rectangular dish.
- 5
Layer the Mixture
Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the layer of soaked ladyfingers. Smooth it out evenly with a spatula.
- 6
Repeat the Layers
Add another layer of dipped ladyfingers on top of the mascarpone mixture, then spread the remaining mascarpone mixture on top.
- 7
Chill the Tiramisu
Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight, to allow the flavors to meld and the dessert to set.
- 8
Serve
Before serving, dust the top of the tiramisu with 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder. Cut into squares and enjoy!
