Preparation Steps

  1. 1

    Prepare the Pizza Dough

If using store-bought dough, allow it to come to room temperature. If making from scratch, follow your preferred recipe or use a pre-approved pizza dough recipe until the dough is ready.

  2. 2

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven to heat up.

  3. 3

    Shape the Pizza Base

On a floured surface, stretch or roll out the pizza dough into a round shape, approximately 12 inches in diameter. Transfer to a pizza peel or a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  4. 4

    Add the Vodka Sauce

Spread the vodka sauce evenly over the surface of the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.

  5. 5

    Layer the Stracciatella and Pepperoni

Tear the stracciatella cheese into smaller pieces and scatter it over the sauce. Then, evenly distribute the pepperoni slices on top.

  6. 6

    Season the Pizza

Drizzle olive oil over the top of the pizza, and season with salt and black pepper to taste.

  7. 7

    Bake the Pizza

Carefully transfer the pizza to the preheated oven (or onto the pizza stone) and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbling.

  8. 8

    Add Pickled Fresno Peppers

Once the pizza is out of the oven, add the pickled Fresno peppers evenly across the pizza for a spicy kick.

  9. 9

    Garnish with Basil

Top the pizza with fresh basil leaves before slicing.

  10. 10

    Slice and Serve

Allow the pizza to cool for a minute, then slice and serve hot.
