Burrata Assembly
Method
Burrata Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Burrata
Carefully remove the burrata cheese from its packaging. Let it sit at room temperature for about 15 minutes to soften.
- 2
Prepare the Prosciutto Cotto
Slice the prosciutto cotto into thin strips or ribbons. Arrange them gently on a serving platter.
- 3
Fried Artichokes
If using store-bought fried artichokes, ensure they are crispy. If making them from scratch, slice fresh artichokes, batter, and fry until golden brown. Drain on paper towels and season with sea salt.
- 4
Assemble the Dish
On the same platter, place the softened burrata in the center. Surround it with the prosciutto cotto and fried artichokes.
- 5
Drizzle with Honey
Generously drizzle the Calabrian honey over the burrata and artichokes.
- 6
Finish with Greens
Add fresh arugula around the burrata and artichokes for a pop of color and freshness.
- 7
Season and Serve
Drizzle extra virgin olive oil over the dish, and season with sea salt and freshly cracked black pepper to taste. Serve immediately.
