Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Preparation of Shrimp

Wrap each jumbo shrimp with a slice of Prosciutto di Parma, securing it with a toothpick if necessary.

  2. 2

    Cooking the Shrimp

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.

  3. 3

    Add Shrimp

Place the wrapped shrimp in the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until the shrimp are pink and opaque.

  4. 4

    Flambé with Sambuca

Carefully add the sambuca to the skillet and ignite with a long lighter or match. Allow the flames to subside.

  5. 5

    Add Spinach and Pignoli

Add the baby spinach to the skillet and toss until wilted. Stir in the pignoli, salt, and black pepper.

  6. 6

    Serve

Remove from heat and serve immediately, garnished with additional pignoli if desired.
