Prepare the Cod
Rinse the cod fillets under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt, black pepper, and Cajun seasoning.
Heat the Pan
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat until it's shimmering.
Cook the Cod
Carefully place the seasoned cod fillets in the skillet. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side until the fish is blackened and cooked through.
Serve
Remove the fillets from the skillet and squeeze fresh lemon juice over them. Serve immediately with your choice of sides.
