Prepare the Oven
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Prepare the Baking Dish
Grease a baking dish with olive oil and place the cod fillets in a single layer.

Season the Fish
In a small bowl, mix together the lemon juice, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. Pour this mixture over the cod fillets.

Prepare the Topping
In another bowl, combine breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, chopped parsley, and olive oil. Mix until the crumbs are evenly coated.

Add Wine and Topping
Pour the white wine around the cod fillets in the baking dish, then sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture generously over the top of the fish.

Bake the Cod
Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the cod is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
