Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Begin by seasoning the filet of sole and shrimp with salt and black pepper. Set aside.

  2. 2

    Dredge the Fish and Shrimp

Coat the sole fillets and shrimp in flour, shaking off any excess. Dip them into the beaten eggs, ensuring they are well covered.

  3. 3

    Cook the Sole

In a large skillet over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Add the battered sole fillets and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and keep warm.

  4. 4

    Cook the Shrimp

In the same skillet, add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter. Add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes, or until they turn pink and are cooked through.

  5. 5

    Make the Lemon Butter Sauce

Add the lemon juice to the skillet and scrape up any browned bits from the bottom. Stir to combine and allow it to simmer for 1 minute.

  6. 6

    Serve

Plate the sole fillets and top with the cooked shrimp. Drizzle the lemon butter sauce over the top and garnish with chopped parsley.
