Pineapple Mint Margarita

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Infuse the Tequila

In a clean jar, combine 2 cups of tequila with fresh pineapple chunks and mint leaves. Seal the jar and let it sit for at least 24 hours in the refrigerator to infuse the flavors.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Margarita

In a cocktail shaker, combine 2 cups of pineapple mint infused tequila, 1 cup of fresh lime juice, 0.5 cup of fresh orange juice, and 0.5 cup of simple syrup. Add 3 cups of ice.

  3. 3

    Shake it Up

Shake the cocktail shaker vigorously for about 15-20 seconds until well mixed and chilled.

  4. 4

    Serve

Rub the rim of a glass with a lime wedge and dip it in salt. Strain the margarita mixture into the glass filled with ice. Garnish with a pineapple wedge and a sprig of mint.
