Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Gather all the ingredients and ensure that the corned beef is sliced and the sauerkraut is well drained.

  2. 2

    Assemble the Sandwich

On two slices of rye bread, spread 2 tablespoons of dressing on each slice. Layer with corned beef, Swiss cheese, and sauerkraut. Top with the remaining slices of rye bread.

  3. 3

    Butter the Bread

Spread 1 tablespoon of butter on the outer side of each sandwich.

  4. 4

    Grill the Sandwich

Heat a skillet over medium heat. Place the sandwiches in the skillet, buttered side down. Grill for about 4-5 minutes until golden brown.

  5. 5

    Flip and Cook

Carefully flip the sandwiches and add the remaining butter on the other side. Grill for another 4-5 minutes until the cheese melts and the bread is golden brown.

  6. 6

    Serve

Remove from the skillet, slice in half, and serve hot with extra dressing on the side if desired.
