Add Garlic and Tomatoes
Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute. Then, add the diced tomatoes and cook for another 2 minutes.

Simmer the Broth
Pour in the chicken broth and bring the mixture to a boil. Add the bay leaves, Cajun seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Reduce heat and let it simmer for 15 minutes.

Add Seafood
Stir in the shrimp and crabmeat. Cook for another 5-7 minutes or until the shrimp are pink and cooked through.

Finish with Filé Powder
Remove the pot from heat and stir in the filé powder. Adjust seasoning if necessary.

Serve
Ladle the gumbo into bowls and garnish with chopped green onions. Serve hot with rice or crusty bread.
