Cajun-Spiced Roasted Potatoes

Steamed Broccoli

Method

Cooking the Pork Chop

  1. 1

    Prepare the Pork Chop

Season the pork chop with salt and black pepper. Let it sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes.

  2. 2

    Grill the Pork Chop

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Grill the pork chop for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until it reaches your desired temperature. During the last few minutes of grilling, baste with Southwestern BBQ sauce.

Cajun-Spiced Roasted Potatoes

  1. 3

    Prepare the Potatoes

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). In a large bowl, toss the cubed potatoes with olive oil, Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, and salt until evenly coated.

  2. 4

    Roast the Potatoes

Spread the seasoned potatoes on a baking sheet in a single layer. Roast for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy, flipping halfway through.

Steaming the Broccoli

  1. 5

    Prepare the Broccoli

In a pot with a steaming basket, bring water to a boil. Add the broccoli florets and steam for about 5-7 minutes until tender but still crisp.

  2. 6

    Finish the Broccoli

Remove from heat, season with salt, and toss with butter while still hot.
