Dry Ingredients

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.

  2. 2

    Mix Dry Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cocoa powder (if making Chocolate Banana version).

  3. 3

    Mix Wet Ingredients

In another bowl, mix the mashed ripe bananas (for Chocolate Banana version), eggs, milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract. If making the Seasonal version, replace bananas with chopped seasonal fruits.

Combining Ingredients

  1. 4

    Combine Mixtures

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not overmix; a few lumps are okay.

  2. 5

    Add Optional Ingredients

For the Chocolate Banana version, fold in chocolate chips. For the Seasonal version, fold in chopped nuts.

Baking

  1. 6

    Pour Batter into Pan

Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and spread it evenly.

  2. 7

    Bake

Bake in the preheated oven for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

  3. 8

    Cool

Once baked, remove from the oven and let it cool in the pan for about 10 minutes. Then, remove from the pan and let it cool completely on a wire rack.
