Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Tea

In a medium saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a boil. Once boiling, remove from heat and add in the 4 black tea bags. Let steep for about 5-7 minutes depending on how strong you like your tea.

  2. 2

    Sweeten the Mix

After steeping, remove the tea bags and stir in 1 cup of sugar until fully dissolved. Allow the tea to cool to room temperature.

  3. 3

    Add Fresh Ingredients

Once the tea has cooled, add 1 cup of fresh lemon juice and 1 cup of fresh mint leaves to the tea mixture. Stir gently to combine.

  4. 4

    Prepare Seasonal Flavor

Chop your choice of seasonal fruit (strawberries, peaches, or blueberries) into small pieces. Add these to the tea mixture and stir to incorporate.

  5. 5

    Chill the Tea

Transfer the tea mixture to a pitcher and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to chill and let the flavors meld together.

  6. 6

    Serve

To serve, fill glasses with ice cubes (about 1 cup per glass) and pour the chilled tea over the ice. Garnish with additional mint leaves or fruit slices if desired.
