Preparation Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Potatoes

Boil the potatoes in salted water until tender, about 15-20 minutes. Drain and let cool. Once cool, cut into wedges.

  2. 2

    Cook the Halloumi

Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Slice the Halloumi cheese and grill until golden brown on both sides, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove from heat.

  3. 3

    Cook the Eggs

In the same skillet, add a little more olive oil if necessary and cook the eggs to your liking (fried, scrambled, or poached). Season with salt and pepper.

  4. 4

    Prepare the Vegetables

Slice the tomatoes and cucumbers into bite-sized pieces.

  5. 5

    Warm the Pita

Brush the pita bread lightly with olive oil and sprinkle with za’atar. Warm in the skillet for 1-2 minutes on each side until slightly crispy.

  6. 6

    Assemble the Platter

On a large platter, arrange the boiled potato wedges, grilled Halloumi, cooked eggs, Labneh, hummus, sliced tomatoes, cucumbers, and warm za’atar pita.
