Method
Meatball Preparation
- 1
Preheat Oven
Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
- 2
Mix Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, eggs, chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until fully combined.
- 3
Form Meatballs
Shape the mixture into meatballs, about 1.5 inches in diameter, and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Baking and Assembling
- 4
Bake Meatballs
Bake the meatballs in the preheated oven for 20 minutes or until they are cooked through and browned.
- 5
Prepare Sauce
While the meatballs are baking, heat the marinara sauce in a saucepan over medium heat until warm.
- 6
Assemble Dish
Once the meatballs are done, remove them from the oven. Pour the warm marinara sauce over the meatballs, then sprinkle mozzarella and cheddar cheese on top.
- 7
Add Prosciutto
Tear the prosciutto into pieces and arrange it on top of the cheese.
- 8
Final Bake
Return the assembled dish to the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
