Chicken Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Chicken
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Place chicken breasts between two pieces of plastic wrap and pound to an even thickness of about 1/2 inch. This helps them cook evenly.
- 2
Breading the Chicken
Set up a breading station: In one bowl, add flour seasoned with salt and pepper. In another bowl, beat the eggs. In a third bowl, add breadcrumbs. Dredge each chicken breast first in flour, then dip in egg, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
- 3
Frying the Chicken
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Once hot, add the breaded chicken and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
Assembling the Dish

Add Toppings
In a baking dish, place the fried chicken breasts. Spoon marinara sauce over each piece, then sprinkle with mozzarella and parmesan cheese. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
