Directions for Bucatini Pomodorini
- 1
Prepare the Bucatini
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the bucatini pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain the rest and set the pasta aside.

Make the Sauce
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute. Add the San Marzano cherry tomatoes and cook for 5-7 minutes, until they start to blister and release their juices.

Combine
Add the cooked bucatini to the skillet with the tomato sauce. Toss to combine, adding reserved pasta water a little at a time until you reach your desired sauce consistency. Stir in the fresh basil, salt, and black pepper.

Serve
Plate the bucatini and top with slices of prosciutto. Garnish with additional basil if desired and serve immediately.
