Enchilada Ingredients

Method

Taco Directions

  1. 1

    Cook the Beef

In a skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef. Cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon, about 5-7 minutes.

  2. 2

    Add Seasoning

Drain excess fat from the skillet. Add taco seasoning to the ground beef, along with 1/4 cup of water. Stir to combine and simmer for 5 minutes.

  3. 3

    Prepare Taco Shells

While the beef is simmering, preheat the taco shells according to package instructions.

  4. 4

    Assemble Tacos

Fill each taco shell with the seasoned beef, shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, shredded cheese, sour cream, and salsa. Serve immediately.

Enchilada Directions

  1. 5

    Preheat Oven

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. 6

    Prepare Filling

In a bowl, combine shredded chicken, half of the shredded cheese, and half of the chopped green onions. Mix well.

  3. 7

    Fill Tortillas

Take a corn tortilla, place a spoonful of the chicken mixture in the center, roll it up, and place it seam side down in a baking dish. Repeat with all tortillas.

  4. 8

    Add Sauce and Cheese

Pour the enchilada sauce evenly over the rolled tortillas in the baking dish. Sprinkle the remaining shredded cheese on top.

  5. 9

    Bake Enchiladas

Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 20 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.

  6. 10

    Serve Enchiladas

Garnish with the remaining chopped green onions and serve with sour cream on the side.
