Tortilla Chips
House-Made Salsa
Method
Tortilla Chips
- 1
Cut and Fry Tortillas
Stack the corn tortillas and cut them into sixths to create triangular chips. Heat the vegetable oil in a deep skillet or frying pan over medium-high heat until hot.
- 2
Fry the Chips
Carefully add a few tortilla triangles to the hot oil. Fry for about 2-3 minutes or until golden brown, flipping occasionally to ensure even cooking.
- 3
Drain and Season
Using a slotted spoon, remove the fried chips from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil. While still hot, sprinkle with salt to taste.
