Method

Preparation Steps

  1. 1

    Marinate the Sirloin

In a bowl, mix Sriracha sauce, soy sauce, minced garlic, and honey. Place the sirloin steak in a resealable bag or shallow dish and pour the marinade over it. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Smashed Potatoes

In a large pot, add the cubed potatoes and cover with water. Add a pinch of salt and bring to a boil. Cook until tender, about 15-20 minutes. Drain and return to the pot. Add butter, salt, and pepper to taste, and smash the potatoes with a fork or potato masher until desired consistency is reached.

  3. 3

    Grill the Vegetables

Toss the sliced vegetables with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Grill over medium-high heat for about 5-7 minutes, until tender and slightly charred.

  4. 4

    Cook the Sirloin

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Remove the sirloin from the marinade and place on the grill. Cook for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness. Brush with additional Sriracha glaze during the last minute of cooking.

  5. 5

    Serve

Slice the sirloin and serve alongside the smashed potatoes and grilled vegetables. Drizzle extra Sriracha glaze over the plate, if desired.
