Water

In a medium saucepan, combine 2 cups of water, 1.5 cups of granulated sugar, and 1 cup of brown sugar. Stir over medium heat until the sugars are fully dissolved.

Prepare the Syrup

Once the sugar is dissolved, add 2 tablespoons of caramel color, 1 teaspoon of citric acid, and if desired, 0.1 teaspoon of caffeine. Stir well to combine.

Add Color and Flavor

Add 1 tablespoon of your chosen natural flavoring extract (such as vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, or orange zest) to the syrup mixture. Mix thoroughly.

Incorporate Natural Flavors

Add 0.1 teaspoon of sodium benzoate to the syrup to act as a preservative. Stir again to ensure everything is well combined.

Preserve the Syrup

Remove the saucepan from heat and allow the syrup to cool to room temperature.

Cool the Syrup

In a large pitcher, combine the cooled syrup with 4 cups of carbonated water. Stir gently to combine without losing carbonation.

Mix with Carbonated Water

Pour the homemade Coke into glasses filled with ice. Enjoy your refreshing drink!

Peel the onions and slice them into 1/4 inch thick rings. Separate the rings and set aside.

In a large, heavy pot or deep fryer, heat the vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C). Use a thermometer to monitor the temperature for best results.

Carefully add a batch of the dried potato sticks to the hot oil, ensuring not to overcrowd the pot. Fry for about 5-7 minutes or until they turn golden brown.

Once the fries are golden, remove them using a slotted spoon and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil.

While the fries are still hot, sprinkle them with salt, paprika, and garlic powder. Toss gently to coat the fries evenly with the seasoning.

Place the cooked beef patty with melted cheese on the bottom half of the burger bun. Top with crispy bacon, lettuce, and tomato slices. Finally, place the top half of the bun over the toppings.

Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape them into patties, about ¾ inch thick. Make a small indentation in the center of each patty to prevent it from puffing up while cooking.

Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat for about 5 minutes.
