Crème Brulee French Toast Ingredients

Method

Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Custard

In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, milk, vanilla extract, and cinnamon until well combined.

  2. 2

    Soak the Bread

Place the thick-cut bread slices into the custard mixture, allowing them to soak for about 5 minutes on each side, ensuring they are fully coated.

  3. 3

    Cook the French Toast

Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and melt a bit of butter. Cook the soaked bread slices for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.

  4. 4

    Brulee the Sugar

Sprinkle raw sugar evenly over the top of each slice of French toast. Using a kitchen torch, caramelize the sugar until it forms a crispy layer. If you don't have a torch, place the slices under a broiler for 1-2 minutes, watching closely.

  5. 5

    Make the White Chocolate Sauce

In a small saucepan, heat the heavy cream over medium heat until it begins to simmer. Remove from heat and add the white chocolate chips, stirring until melted and smooth.

  6. 6

    Serve

Plate the bruleed French toast, drizzle with white chocolate sauce, and top with fresh berries. Serve immediately.
