Prepare the French Toast
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and cinnamon. Dip each slice of thick-cut bread into the mixture, allowing it to soak for a few seconds on each side.

Cook the French Toast
Melt 1 tablespoon of butter in a skillet over medium heat. Cook each slice of soaked bread for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown. Repeat with remaining slices, adding more butter as needed.

Prepare the Caramel Sauce
In a saucepan, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat. Add sliced bananas and cook for about 1 minute. Stir in Myers Rum, brown sugar, and heavy cream. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.

Place the French toast on plates and generously spoon the warm rum caramel sauce with bananas over the top.
