Method
Prepare the Meat
- 1
Tenderize the Cutlets
Using a meat mallet, gently pound the veal or chicken cutlets to about 1/4 inch thickness. This ensures even cooking and tenderness.
- 2
Season the Cutlets
Season both sides of the cutlets generously with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Let them rest for about 10 minutes.
Breading Process
- 3
Set Up Breading Station
In three separate shallow dishes, place flour in one, beaten eggs in another, and breadcrumbs mixed with a pinch of salt in the third.
- 4
Coat the Cutlets
Dredge each cutlet first in flour, shaking off excess. Then dip in the beaten eggs, and finally coat thoroughly with breadcrumbs. Set aside on a plate.
Frying
- 5
Heat the Oil
In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat until shimmering, about 5 minutes.
- 6
Prepare French Fries
- 7
Cook the French Fries
Follow the package instructions for cooking the frozen French fries, typically by baking or frying until crispy.
- 8
Season the Fries
Once cooked, sprinkle the French fries with salt to taste.
