Method

Preparing the Milanesa

  1. 1

    Prepare the Breading Station

Set up three shallow bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with breadcrumbs mixed with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.

  2. 2

    Coat the Cutlets

Dredge each cutlet in flour, shaking off the excess. Next, dip it into the beaten eggs, allowing excess to drip off. Finally, coat the cutlet thoroughly with breadcrumbs.

  3. 3

    Fry the Cutlets

Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the breaded cutlets in batches and fry for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.

Preparing the Mixed Salad

  1. 4

    Chop the Vegetables

Rinse and chop the lettuce, tomatoes, and cucumber. Combine them in a large bowl.

  2. 5

    Dress the Salad

In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Drizzle over the salad and toss well to combine.

Preparing the Side Dish

  1. 6

    Cook the Potatoes

Peel and chop the potatoes into quarters. Boil them in salted water until tender, about 15-20 minutes.

  2. 7

    Mash the Potatoes

Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot. Add butter and milk, then mash until smooth. Season with salt to taste.
