Method
Preparing the Salad

Wash Lettuce
Wash the Romaine lettuce under cold water to remove any dirt and debris. Shake off excess water and dry using a salad spinner or paper towels.

Chop Lettuce
Chop the lettuce into bite-sized pieces and place it in a large salad bowl.

Combine Ingredients
Add the croutons and grated parmesan cheese to the bowl with the chopped lettuce.
Making the Caesar Dressing

Mince Garlic
Mince the garlic cloves finely.

Prepare Anchovy Paste
In a mixing bowl, mash the anchovy fillets with the minced garlic until they form a paste.

Mix Dressing Ingredients
Add the Dijon mustard, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper to the anchovy and garlic mixture. Whisk until combined.

Emulsify Dressing
Slowly drizzle in the olive oil while whisking continuously to emulsify the dressing until it is smooth and creamy.
Assembling the Caesar Salad

Pour the prepared Caesar dressing over the lettuce, croutons, and parmesan cheese in the salad bowl.
