Method

Burger Patty Preparation

  1. 1

    Form the Patties

In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix well using your hands until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.

  2. 2

    Shape the Patties

Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape them into patties, pressing slightly in the center to ensure they cook evenly.

Cooking the Burger

  1. 3

    Cook the Patties

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, place the patties on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side.

  2. 4

    Add Toppings

Flip the patties and place a slice of ham and a slice of cheese on each patty. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until the cheese is melted and the patties are cooked to your preferred doneness.

Fry the Eggs

  1. 5

    Prepare the Skillet

In a separate skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.

  2. 6

    Fry the Eggs

Crack the eggs into the skillet and fry them sunny-side up until the whites are set but the yolks are still runny, about 3-4 minutes.

Assemble the Burger

  1. 7

    Build the Burger

To assemble, place the cooked patty with ham and cheese on the bottom half of the burger bun. Top with a fried egg and cover with the top half of the bun.

  2. 8

    Serve

Serve the Argentinian burger immediately with your choice of sides.
