Activate Yeast
In a small bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until frothy.

Mix Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, combine flour and salt. Add the activated yeast mixture and olive oil. Mix until a dough starts to form.
- 3
Knead Dough
Transfer the dough onto a floured surface and knead for about 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- 4
Let Dough Rise
Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
Pizza Sauce Preparation

- 6
Add Tomatoes and Spices
Add crushed tomatoes, oregano, salt, black pepper, and torn basil leaves. Simmer for about 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally.

- 10
Add Toppings
Tear the fresh mozzarella into pieces and distribute them evenly over the sauce. Add more fresh basil leaves on top.
- 11
Drizzle Olive Oil
Drizzle a tablespoon of olive oil over the top.

Bake Pizza
Transfer the pizza to the preheated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
- 13
Slice and Serve
Remove the pizza from the oven, let it cool for a few minutes, then slice and serve hot.
