Burger Patty

Toppings

Buns

Method

Prepare the Patty

  1. 1

    Mix the Ingredients

In a bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Mix gently until just combined.

  2. 2

    Form the Patties

Divide the mixture into two equal parts and form them into round patties, about 3/4 inch thick. Make a slight indentation in the center of each patty to prevent puffing while cooking.

Cook the Patty

  1. 3

    Preheat the Grill or Pan

Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. If using a skillet, add a little oil to prevent sticking.

  2. 4

    Cook the Patties

Place the patties on the grill or skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side, then flip.

  3. 5

    Add Cheese

After flipping, place a slice of American cheese on each patty and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until the cheese is melted and the patties are cooked to your desired doneness.

Assemble the Burger

  1. 6

    Prepare the Buns

Toast the burger buns on the grill or in a toaster until lightly golden.

  2. 7

    Layer the Ingredients

On the bottom half of each bun, place a lettuce leaf, followed by the cooked patty with melted cheese. Add tomato slices and onion rings on top.

  3. 8

    Finish the Burger

Place the top half of the bun on each assembled burger. Serve immediately.
